We just stayed at this place and it was wonderful!! I had some flight delays and they worked with me and my late check-in. The room was very clean and cozy. It is over an hour drive to Acadia National Park, but the drive was beautiful and easy. I can't wait to come back!!!

The staff is so courteous and easy to work with, especially regarding ADA. The room was a suite/had a bedroom and it was absolutely charming and cozy on a cold winter night! Everything we needed was there and the staff even left us some items for breakfast in the morning. The river view and rooms and access to amenities — 5 stars, this will definitely be our family’s new go-to stop when traveling in the area!
I have stayed here a few times, always enjoy it. Love the second floor you get a great view of the river. Enjoy being able to cook my food in the room since they have stove, microwave, and fridge and freezer. Very nice people who run it.
I can’t say enough about this lovely motel! I stay in places all over the country and rarely am I pleasantly surprised. I needed a place to stay for the night and randomly pulled into this spot on the river and was so happy to find the rooms to be big, clean, had all the amenities I needed, and the beds were comfy as could be! If you are up this way, don’t hesitate to stop in
My husband & I recently stayed here for 5 days with our dog Cedar while visiting family & the area in general. We loved our stay! Great room with kitchenette, plenty of storage, great location to area attractions like Acadia, local hiking trails & restaurants like Pepper’s Landing which I highly recommend! Very friendly & helpful owner/employee when checking in & out! We left for a day & forgot our room key but no problem at all going to the office & getting another key to get back into our room. I definitely highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area; the only place I’ll stay when coming back! Thank you again!!
The staff (or owners? I don’t know), were incredibly accommodating, welcoming, flexible, and super friendly. I arrived late after a strenuous hike and it was a really warm and cosy place to sleep. I felt refreshed in the morning. The rooms are well-equipped and I wish I could have stayed another night.
Perfect location for families coming to UMaine graduation. Owner could not have been nicer. Rooms had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Only missing a large pot for pasta but we made it work with 2 smaller pots. There is a sidewalk across the street for walking your dog.
